For years, the Mexican government has unlawfully targeted Vulcan, shutting down our deep-water port and quarry operations in the Yucatan Peninsula. They used military force to invade our property and issued a bogus decree declaring our land a "Naturally Protected Area" to justify stealing our assets.

Next week, the U.S. House of Representatives will debate the bipartisan Defending American Property Abroad (DAPA) Act of 2026 (H.R. 7084). This targeted bill ensures Mexico cannot profit from stolen assets by denying vessels entry into U.S. ports if they operate out of foreign ports unlawfully stolen from a U.S. company. It removes the economic incentive for Mexico to steal our facility.
